Basmah Alsakabey is a Saudi visual artist and arts instructor based in Dammam. She grew up in the studio of her father, the pioneering painter Muhammad Al-Sakabey — a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence — and inherited a devotion to craft, color, and the quiet discipline of making.
Her paintings move between geometric abstraction, luminous landscapes, and works that carry layered meaning. In May 2024 she presented a duo exhibition with her father at Abstract Art Gallery in Riyadh. She continues to teach painting and to create oil works on canvas that are open to collection and collaboration.
